The dcif regularly hosts excellent events (especially webinars) with very interesting speakers, including those from the wider community, who also offer a broader perspective. In addition to solid, first-hand practical knowledge, they also address overarching topics for further thought.

Being a solo CI professional, it's incredibly validating to see other CI pros facing similar hurdles. The open exchange of ideas and discussions with peers? That's a game-changer for my work.

The most valuable aspect of dcif and its yearly conference has been to provide a forum for networking and exchange. Methodology and knowhow is very important, but experience-sharing is of utmost importance to be successful as an MI&CI professional. I had the honour to work with so many people from different industries and I could learn from them and extend my personal MI&CI knowhow.

A key value of dcif is meeting and discussing with other MI/CI professionals over all industries, levels, areas. My question to the DCIF community is: Do you see dcif more as a forum for MI/CI professionals to stay up-to-date or as an institution shaping the understanding and the profession of MI/CI?
